1787: We the People
World Premiere of a New Musical written by Robert Picklesimer and Lucinda Lawrence

The story of “1787: We the People” reveals the politics and social issues surrounding the Constitutional Convention and leading to actions of many people passionately involved with creating this “Great Experiment”.

Creative Dramatics Workshop, Inc. (CDW, Inc.) of Sidney, Illinois , the News-Gazette and WDWS 1400 Talk Radio will present this world premiere production.

This new musical looks at the political and social circumstance of the people whose combined efforts created a new kind of government…by the people.
